Professor Jon and team were exactly what we were looking for when we signed our son up for Jiu-Jitsu. After only a little over a month, we’re seeing noticeable behavioral changes: confidence, discipline, respect, harder work ethic, and not afraid to fail; but continues to try. I wish we would’ve started him in Jiu-Jitsu sooner.
My kids love going to their jujitsu classes and are always looking forward.
Lot of parents also take adult classes and hence everyone feels like a family
From day one they made us feel like family. We really like how Professor Jon explains each technique with clarity, enthusiasm, and commitment to his students.
I have had a great time everyone is very friendly and a great professor teaches the classes. The schedule is also great as there is a class almost everyday either early in the mornings ,mid day, or the afternoon. I would highly recommend it
CJJF is a great place for kids to have fun and build character. It’s an incredible value as a parent! Kids usually attend 2-3 days a week to learn the skills needed to achieve their next stripe/belt on schedule. But, kids can go 6 days a week if they want - and many kids do, because the classes are just that fun.
The instructors are patient and kind. They love the sport and work to foster that same love of the sport within each child. The kids are pushed to excel in the sport through encouragement and training, not through shame tactics. Kids are expected to put in real effort and listen/follow instructions, but the instructors understand that these are kids and work with them accordingly to build the self-discipline that will give the child confidence in all areas of life.
Team work is emphasized. There is no emphasis on winning or losing during class - it’s all about focusing on the drills. Competition is offered as well for those kids who want to pursue it.
Love this place. You will too.
