I see some negative reviews here about how scheduling works and about the office staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bauer for 5 years & I’ve never had a single problem with scheduling. Even when I have needed to see him quickly, I have gotten a workable appointment. What I have experienced has been a professional and friendly staff, and an easy scheduling system. I usually just go online to book something.

Furthermore, the Baylor Scott & White system includes an online portal which is very useful for routine questions and prescription requests/refills. I use it often and every time I do, I get a very quick response. I messaged just this week for a prescription and within 15 minutes, the nurse messaged back that it had been approved and sent to my pharmacy. You can’t get better service than that.

There was a comment about frustration at not being able to talk about more than 2 issues at an office visit. This is not the Drs choice, this is dictated by insurance companies. This was starting to be the case several years ago, when I was with another Dr., under a different system. Thanks to insurance control of the health industry, rigid rules & policies force our doctors to adhere to how much time they can spend and how many issues can be addressed, or it won’t be covered. It’s a tall orders for doctors and they spend as much time doing paperwork for insurance as they do seeing patients.

Lastly, a few patients commented that Dr. Bauer is not compassionate. I have never seen him be anything but caring and very ethical. He has helped me with several ongoing health issues and I have complete trust in his expertise. He’s friendly and very easy to discuss anything with. I’m very glad to have found such a good practice.

I had the pleasure to meet the Administration team today in this beautiful community. Not only is the community beautiful but the Administration and the caregivers are always smiling. You can even see those smiles under the masks . Walking around everyone will say hello and treat you like family . This is somewhere that I would be happy to transition my mom when she is ready to make this hard decision.

I absolutely enjoy working at Maravilla Scottsdale! I have worked at many retirement resort style communities, but this is by far the best place I have ever worked. When I'm here, I barely feel like I'm at work because I love all of my residents and love spending my time with them! I think anybody would enjoy living here!

This place is gorgeous and the people are very nice and they allow pets, it's a wonderful place to be active and retire !

I absolutely love working here ! The company genuinely cares for it's employees! Management does a terrific job in working together to ensure that our community is running to the best of it's it's ability daily. More importantly, our new ED, Sandy D'Angelo has been such a huge positive influence on the positive and productive changes that have taken place at our community. It's been my absolute pleasure to work for a community that truly sets an impeccable standard of excellence for our residents and it's employees. I look forward to a long lasting career with SRG and I encourage anyone who is looking to work for a company that they can trust, come and apply and know that we really are like family at our community. I feel like I finally found my career home.

Being in healthcare for more than 18 years, and having the pleasure of working with hundreds of docs across the US, we found Dr Mark Bauer almost 6 years ago. He is the most knowledgeable and most compassionate Doctor I have ever had. He and his staff 150% of the time work to go up and beyond the call of duty to provide the absolute best care possible. I would and do recommend him to all that are looking and not one of my recommendations have come back to me with out feeling the same way that we feel. If this world had more physicians like Dr Marc Bauer and the staff he has this world would be a much better place. We are blessed to have him in our lives.
