Cannot say enough to glorify this place. I'm a professional photographer and this place is a dream at sunset. Well kept trails with more arriving later this year. Very excited
About as nice of a park as can be found in Richardson. Expansions and further development appear to be underway, to the chagrin of the "forest guard," who makes his/her displeasure known in Sharpie scribbles on park signs. Gets a little busier than I would like. I'd like my nature to feature fewer humans than this park usually allows. If I time my visit right, going earlier than the masses, the park is very enjoyable for a walk. Paved trails are most common, with a few dirt paths to explore as well. A few spandex warriors treat the park like their own road bike speedway, which is ridiculous. The paved trails are not wide enough to race through on a bike. Those dorks need to go bother the driver's on the road. The parking lot is very small, fitting no more than 10 or 12 cars.
Otherwise, nice park close to home!
Large nature area with many trails for walkers, runners, bike riders that are maintained in excellent shape
Cut by a beautiful creek approximately 50 feet down. Many benches and picnic tables. All areas are marked with location numbers if a call to 911 is necessary.
I spent time with my son there on labor day 2020. We had nice time enjoying nature.
Good trail with winding unending wooded trails inside. Safe as there are board and pillar number to call 911 if lost or for any other emergency. It seemed to be pretty much popular as there were lot of people even in deep inside the trail. I enjoyed it thoroughly and plan to go again soon. There is a big creek dancing by it's side as can be seen in my pictures.

Along Spring Creek, near the intersection of State Highway 190 and US Highway 75 in Collin County, Texas, there is the Spring Creek Nature Area, a section of land set aside by the City of Richardson for public recreation. One would never guess from these photos that this area is bounded by 8-lane...
