(November 28, 2019, 11:36 am)What a breath of fresh air it was when I walked into Garnet Hill!
I was from out of town and was visiting my sister. She had been in a prior facility which I found lacking in many areas.
This place was cheerful and inviting. Many places to sit and converse on very comfortable furniture.
Rooms were kept neat and everyday I came her bed had already been made. Bathrooms were kept clean also.
I am kind of a clean freak and was impressed with the level of cleanliness. Absolutely NO URINE SMELL! Thank God!
The Dining Areas are designed in a way that makes you feel you are dining out. Very charming. Was also impressed with the meals and diet the residents were given. The former place kept feeding my sister sweet tea-ALL DAY- and then sugary treats. Meals were not very good and lacking in nutrients.
The best thing about Garnet Hill is that residents are kept active and involved. The mood is more upbeat and pleasant.
I cannot tell you how relieved I was after my visit. I sleep much better these days knowing my sister is in good and caring hands.
(November 19, 2019, 10:30 am)My husband was a rehab and skilled care patient at Garnet Hill from Nov 14 until Nov 18. I can’t say enough good things about the care he received. The facility is run like a hospital. I was impressed with that. The staff is fantastic. They treated my husband with great care and compassion. The response time was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone needing skilled care and rehab.
(July 17, 2019, 11:13 am)I started volunteering here on August 10, 2018 and am playing piano here most Fridays at 4:30 pm. This is a great place to be and everyone is nice, patient, and understanding. The Yelp reviews for this place say that this is the best memory care facility.
