Retreat at Wylie

I am moving my 85 year old mom to the Retreat this month to be closer to my wife and I. Jeannie and her staff could not have been any nicer in making the process smooth and welcoming for her. Transitioning from a house to an apt community can be overwhelming and they made it a less stressful process. The facilities are great and the residents we have met during the moving process have been very nice.

We have lived at The Retreat at Wylie for over three years. We love it here. The floor plans are great and the apartments are like a luxury resort with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, ten foot ceilings with crown molding, etc. The hallways are spacious and enclosed with small alcoves at each apartment entrance door to decorate as you see fit. You feel secure in your apartment. The clubhouse is gorgeous and the community sponsors monthly entertainment, etc. that residents can enjoy. We love the heated resort-style pool which is excellent for relaxing and exercise. Also we wouldn't want to be without the hot tub. There is ample parking and assigned spaces if you want covered parking or a garage. We have a dog and love the dog park and the sidewalk around the exterior of the facility where you and your dog can get exercise but still feel safe inside the gates. It's fun meeting and making friends with neighbors and residents. You never have to be "alone" here!

On Nov 5, 2022, the Retreat at Wylie hosted a Craft Fair for residents and the public. This year outside vendors were able to participate, I did and this craft fair was the BEST I have been to this season! (I made more money than any other event I've attended.) It was organized, well run and Zena was there throughout the event for any questions or needs you may have had. Thank you to Zena and her team for allowing outsiders to participate....I can't wait for the next one, this is one I will not ever miss!!!!!

Any maintenance issues are resolved all most immediately,
We especially love the large pool, hot tub, and picnic area. I really like watching the lawn maintenance crew as they keep the ground in good order. It’s the retired life😍
