“Went to get a fresh cut ahead of a wedding reception I was headed to that weekend. I don't remember the last time I've left a review for something, but this had to be the best haircut I've had in recent memory. Now, note that there was a 220-minute waiting list – but for good reason. Make sure to book ahead of time online! Casey was the one to cut my hair, and she was awesome. Conversational, friendly, and took her time with the haircut and shampoo. She even trimmed my eyebrows, which is something I've never been asked about before. Holy Cow, guys, if you want a really good haircut, by a real professional, who knows her business, drop in at Shear Edge in the Madison Salons building and see Judy. Try this.... Ask whoever you're currently going to if they can give you a finger-cut. If they can't, or if they take more than 2 seconds to say "Absolutely", you're getting a second-class haircut, but are probably paying more than I am. “We were there on a busy Friday afternoon. We did make an appointment, but only an hour in advance. We saw multiple people walk-in without appointments and be helped while we were there. I enjoyed the vibe, but anyone with sensory issues would find this place horrible. - There is music playing (louder than "background" music) and posters all over. My 16 yo sons haircut turned out great. We talked to the technician and asked what she thought would look best on his face and what was in style and she explained what she thought very well and then did a great job of doing exactly that. He was thrilled and feels like he found his new look. We'll be back!”

With that being said, the level of consistency of Ali’s work is top tier! After about three visits he doesn’t need to ask what I want he just knows! I trust this man so much I ask his opinion for my own head. His shop is private so it’s just you and him with a big screen and some music. “I called to ask for their suggestion of stylist and was booked with Madison Reynolds for my curly hair. I had a general idea of what I wanted but Madison personalized it to fit me perfectly. I am beyond thrilled at the results - she made my natural curls look like they were heat styled! The salon is very open and bright. It’s one big room with all the chairs rather than each stylist having a private booth. Stylists aren’t wearing masks at this time but no one made me uncomfortable for wearing mine. I had the works done, breast lift with implants, tummy tuck, liposuction front and back and fat transfer into my bottom. I made the choice to do stay two nights with a nurse and am so happy I did.
