I have attended this church for about 18 years. I'll never forget the day I first walked in. It changed my life forever!! God used this church and the people in it to save my life and mold me into the man God wanted me to be. Since then I have been blessed in ways I never could have imagined! If you are broken, lost or just trying to figure out who God and Jesus are, I highly recommend you join on us on Sunday and give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!! Just sayin. God bless you
Cibolo Creek Community Church has been such a blessing to me over the years. My younger sons were encouraged in their lives and faith by the youth pastors, which was so important to me. I was able to connect with wonderful ladies from all walks of life through the women’s ministry and ended up serving in that ministry. My husband and I both love our small group. There are so many ways to meet great people, serve in meaningful ways and, most importantly, grow in faith and knowledge of God - Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. The best life happens by following Jesus Christ!
My husband and I started going to Cibolo Creek Community Church when we moved to Fair Oaks Ranch 8 years ago. My husband had been resisting returning to church, insisting that he prayed on his own. But after some coaxing, he went with me. From the very moment he heard the music (modern Christian music performed by excellent talent) and our pastor, Paul Wilson, he was hooked (so was I). We've found Paul's easy-to-digest messages to be relevant to today, and yet, clearly linked to what the Bible says.
I would encourage anyone to visit, and if you feel compelled to return, as we did: get involved! That is the easiest way to meet people! You'll find a description of ways to do that on the church's website. And joining a Life Group is the best way to really connect with other people who are likely searching for ways to understand the Bible and apply it when facing today's complicated world.
I can't say enough about how Cibolo Creek has impacted my life. It's made me want to be a better person, to serve others simply because they need help, and to consider how Jesus might approach something that I'm struggling with. But mainly, it's given me joy, inspiration, clarity and strength. I hope anyone who is looking for answers will take that next (sometimes, scary) step and give it a try. You'll be glad you did.
This church always has a great Sunday message which is easy to understand and backed with Scripture. They also offer great men's, women's and youth ministries if you want to dive deeper. Super friendly folks to help you if needed but not smothering. The best part of this church is how approachable the staff is - always willing to chat and truly interested in getting to know you.
It had been over 30 years since I attended church for a variety of reasons. When our youngest was three years old my wife asked if we could go to church. I reluctantly agreed and we went to Cibolo Creek Community Church. This was in 2012 and my life has never been the same since. This church understands that church is not a resort for the saved, but a hospital for the sinner. I was welcomed and not judged. They remembered our names! Shortly after attending I was invited to a men's bible study. I didn't even own a bible, but I went. The men there accepted me as one of their own and patiently discipled me. I thank God for putting Cibolo Creek Community Church in my life. If you are looking for a church home, look no further. Blessings, Rick Scheel
