We started attending River City Church six months ago and are absolutely enjoying it! The music, children’s ministries, and the pastor’s messages of God’s love are exactly what New Braunfels residents needed!

The people are nice and welcoming to new members. The teaching going on in the middle school and for 5 years Olds are spot on. This is a small church but we are looking forward to grow big with them. The pastor delivers his message with so much emotion.
I’ve been going to this church for about 1 year with my husband and two-year-old son. They are so open to people that are not perfect. Who is anyway?! I love the preaching. It’s easy to relate to and I learn something every time. My husband and I typically bring it up at different points in the week. The child care is great. I appreciate how much the team cares for my son. They don’t really have sunday school like traditional churches. They have church for adults and a children’s program for nursery - youth all at the same time. They have 3 services; 8:30am, 10 & 11:30am. They meet in a school they rent out for Sunday’s. It’s not that big. Maybe 100 people per sermon time. They offer classes and bible studies outside of just Sunday and they have a women’s and men’s ministry so it’s pretty easy to get to know people. Tip #1) come 5 min. early. The parking can get pretty full if you come late. Plus you will want to check in your child to the children’s program before you sit down. Come check it out, I’ll be the one in the early service with curly red hair. ;-)
I went to River City Church for the first time last Sunday. My wife and 3 children have been looking for a church home since recently relocating to NB. The people were friendly, polite and caring. God is definitely on the move there. We will continue to attend the services and hopefully one day it will become our church home. Good music, great word and awesome kids group. I would recommend to anyone seeking a church to call home. God Bless!
