Sat on a picnic table in the river and ate. Their cheeseburger and onion rings are so delicious 😋. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially, Joe!!! Place is well kept up. Clean restrooms. A beautiful place to spend your day or days in my case... Retired and just moved here from Ohio. I'll never go back!!! A great place to put in and float. 🌞😎✌️

Float House is THE SPOT on River Road. Doesn't matter what you order - be prepared to wait. This ain't fast food. It's made with love. Crack a cold beverage, enjoy your company and the scenery. This place is as "river rat" as it gets. Come hungry, chill and enjoy the mellow atmosphere. You won't be disappointed, and they'll always do what they can to make it right if something is off. 🤙

Hamburgers were delicious as always! You know that saying, "you get what you pay for"! Really true here!!! You pay a little more but the hamburgers are old fashioned GREAT!!! Plus the staff went out of their way to make things easy for my husband (that has a prosthetic leg) and special for me (it's my birthday)!!!

Good staff. Friendly and knowledgeable about the river. The owner greeted us and thanked us for coming out when we got back to the float house 7 hours later. Best times to go...the middle of the week of course. I had the river to ourselves all day. Magical experience. Thanks Lone Star Float House. See y'all again once school starts.

Staff is very friendly. I just ordered plain nachos with jalapeños so I can’t really comment on the food.
