Wow, loved our stay! Texas Star was perfect for our girl weekend getaway. The location was awesome, but most importantly clean, tranquil and quiet. We will definitely be back. What a nice haven!!!

We’ve stayed multiple years at MooCow. We weren’t disappointed this year. Great views. Nice amenities. Plenty of space for our group. We hopped on tubes at our cabin and got out down at Lonestar the first day and launched at Little Ponderosa the second day and floated back to the cabins - a great time.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay and we will be back again next year. We stayed in the Winecup cabin which was very clean when we arrived and had enough space for us and two guests who stayed with us one night. The drive down River Road is beautiful. The entire experience was awesome.

For those inquiring on staying, don’t be put off by the complaints of cleaning fees, charges, etc. Read your contract with the owners and you’ll be alright. It’s quite simple. This is a private property and investment for the owners so take care of it like you would your own. We spent a little time cleaning up before we left and made sure we respected the property and took care of it. Your experience is what you make it!

Booked the Sunflower cabin this past weekend to get out of the city with my wife and son for awhile, had a great experience all around. Terry was very friendly and helpful, the cabin was the perfect size and incredibly clean, in fact the 3 of us were so perfectly comfortable in the main room that the bedroom went unused, though it was plenty inviting. My goal was to fish all day Saturday, and the proximity to the river was nice, it's not right on the river but it was an easy walk even with a kayak on my shoulder. I tore up the rainbow trout and my wife went into town and came back with a bunch of antiques, I'd say we both had the perfect weekend. We'll be going back just as soon as we can, maybe bring the rest of the family when summer comes.
