Loved every second of my discovery flight! Look forward to training after I save the money. Thanks Ron and Travis!
After careful consideration, I found LSP to be the best school for me. I have a disability and was lacking know how, and experience. I stayed with LSP for a five days, and I left with an entirely new set of skills! I also was able to fine tune already existing skills. And I am now confident that I have the nessessary skills To become a successful pilot! I would like to say thank you to everyone at LSP for your patience, hard work, and support. I know now that I can succeed in flight. I love you guys!
These guys are great, and I learned a lot from them. I left with the confidence I needed to fly on my own, and a healthy respect for the equipment and weather to feel safe and make good decisions. I really like the three different instructors all with their own teaching style. I learned something from each of them, and when I wasn't understanding something from one of them, I was able to get it with one of the others. They also have a few different launch site options that help when weather gets in the way. Excellent and would recommend!
This was by far one of the greatest life experiences I have ever had. The instructors are knowledgeable and can custom tailor the instruction to the needs of the students. If you have been considering this for yourself, I can say this school fulfilled all of my personal goals I had before attending class. When it comes to post-class information, they have helped me with countless questions about fields and gear. Even after you leave class if you contact your instructors from Lonestar Paramotor, they follow up every time. If I had the opportunity I would definitely do the class all over again, and feel I have made some lifelong friends. Thank you again to Ron, Parker, Jeff, and other members of the community that came out for our classes and shared experiences. Lonestar for life!
For the last few years, I had wanted to get into the paramotor sport. After researching a few different options, I found Aviator Paramotor and their Aviator Alliance program. Further research led me to Lone Star Paramotor, and I decided to reach out to them. Almost immediately I was contacted by Ron Toran who answered all my questions with genuine concern and compassion. Not even having met him in person, I was convinced that Lone Star Paramotor was the school for me. The class itself was intense but rewarding, broken into two primary parts using a building block approach.
The ground school was filled with information about safety, weather, law, technique, equipment, etc. Both Ron and his business partner Parker carefully evaluate and guide you along your way as you progress through each step. By the time you take your last flight, you will have all the necessary tools on your belt to continue to fly on your own. There are just so many good things I want to say about Ron and Parker and not enough space to write them in. They are both amazing instructors. Each with their own unique instruction styles that complement each other very well. From the first day of class to the very last, my opinion never wavered. I started this journey looking for the right school to teach me how to safely pursue my dream of running into the sky. I ended up finding a new family that genuinely cared about my success, and I cannot be happier with the result. I hope that you will give Lone Star Paramotor your consideration as well. You will NOT be disappointed!
