(April 23, 2021, 9:00 am)I've been having weekly sessions with Carlos now for over a year. I am based in the UK so Zoom sessions work great for me. Carlos is so easy to talk to, non-judgmental and relatable. The work we have done together has dramatically changed my confidence, ability to set boundaries and my life is much more manageable having him to help me process through things. I would highly recommend A Turning Point to anyone looking for support with their mental health.
(December 14, 2019, 6:03 pm)Ron was able to offer me a structured program and hope when I was absolutely hopeless. I had been in and out of AA for 30 years and sober 9 years twice so I did not think anything or anyone could help me, I was too far gone into my Addictions, plus a head full of AA and Religion makes it next to impossible to come back. That was almost two years ago and I now live free of my addictions 24 hours at a time. I could not have made it, if it were not for Ron and Elissa, they genuinely care for there patients and are committed to seeing people who want freedom get free! The Pearl of Great Price is there Monday night aftercare which Elissa leads! Thank You Ron and Elissa for playing a part in my success story your both amazing!!!
(August 19, 2019, 1:30 am)After years of very toxic relations in my household leading to many mental health issues, I finally decided to give therapy a try. I had a counselor in high school that was provided but most of the ideas given to fix any of my issues were kind of self explanatory or things I could have come up with leaving me kind of detached from any sort of mental help at all. However when I was recommended Ron Deage I decided to give it a try after seeing the improvements he had made on those around me that had visited him. The first session I already had felt 10 times better than I had ever before, finally someone had made some sense and given me legitimate ways to de-stress and remove the toxicity from my life/mental rather than just coping with them. I can gladly say after a few solid months, years of strain on my mental have been for the most part cleared up, and I feel like a new person. I highly recommend A Turning Point, especially Ron Deage, and just wanted to share how great of a change in my life the service was!
(May 21, 2019, 11:43 pm)Ron Deage helped me focus my energies on what is most important. He knows when to ask a question, what to ask, and how to listen. With his guidance, I learned to reframe, stop minimizing, and correctly name some of the more difficult experiences I've had. He has also proved invaluable in family counseling. I will continue to meet with him. I recommend the counseling services at A Turning Point without hesitation.
(June 20, 2018, 5:35 pm)I’ve been Skype counseling with Ron since November 2012. I initially sought him out to help me process a stressful event that was causing feelings of extreme anxiety and affecting interpersonal relationships. He helped me navigate my initial crisis, and over the past 6 years, we’ve worked together to better understand my behavior in interpersonal relationships, and re-build my lack of confidence and self esteem. Sometimes you need an objective person, to offer reassurance that your managing situations in the best way possible. Sometimes you need to vent. Sometimes you need kindness and compassion after a rough week. Ron will offer you ways to manage anxiety/stress, effective communication tools, and gently lead you down a path of self discovery, so you can work towards a better version of yourself.
