“A very nice RV park, with friendly folks. It's pretty quiet besides the noise of Highway 281. We used to have little get togethers on the regular. Set on the bench next to the cabin with a BBQ some beers, & dice. Eventually the neighbors would start showing up. Sometimes we would have to grab another bench because of all the neighbors coming by. I recall one time we had 3 benches together. We became friends with most of these fine folks. It really was a highlight for me when I came to Texas. I look back at these times wistfully, with great reverence. But I do hear that manager they have there. Has very little compassion or empathy for people helping their loved ones in a time of need.”

The Pillars has always reassured me that my son is under great care. All his teachers have been supportive from his first teacher Ms. Claudia in the infant classroom as he moved up in age to Ms. Nadia, Ms. Dawn, to his current teachers Ms. Tabby,Ms. Melissa and Ms. Ally and of course the office staff. “I love Elaine’s yoga class for many reasons. She begins with teaching correct form and guides students to build on it. I remember saying, “You taught me something today! I like to be corrected when necessary, so thanks!” Her tips stay with us. Also, you don’t have to be a pro at yoga to join her class. She can teach to any level and will meet you there. She’ll remain aware of what you can and cannot do on any particular day. Her nursing background is another benefit. She’ll recognize your limits, as well as accomplishments. We scheduled an appointment for him (he was the guinea pig ;D ) and he came back home really happy about his visit. He said “you have to schedule your appointment literally right now, you’re going to like this practice”. So I went ahead and scheduled my appointment. I’ll say that for the first time ever he was right. I left my visit feeling extremely happy and pleased with everything. The staff and the doctors were very nice and informative. “Thanks to Phyllis for putting together a great trip for my family! The Secrets Playa resort is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is friendly and did a wonderful job of providing masks and hand sanitizer. We only had one situation with a poolside event where our attire was not acceptable, but other guests with the same attire were permitted. “Matthew took my vehicle right in. Gave me an estimate. Stuck with the estimate. Listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly what I wanted for the price we discussed. Very pleased. No BS here. Had gone to another place prior to here. Had to make an appt a week in advance just to have them look. Couldn't leave the vehicle then was told they only do complete work not just what I wanted. They were going to go thru the entire vehicle and fix everything. It's a 2000 Ford Ranger. I just wanted the bumper fixed and the headlight replaced. They said I would have an estimate in my email that afternoon. I have never received it and my truck has been repaired and is now home because I went to Honey Creek instead. Thank you Matthew and Clayton. They even gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was done!!!”

“The breakfast burritos are huge. The small ones are very well stuffed. You can tell they love what They do. There salsas are delicious. They have many other options to choose from. We always get several on our way back home. When it's close, we get really sad. It was a slight long line. About 10 or 12 men in front of us. It took about 20 minutes to get our food put; it was worse it. You can call ahead and order ,so you don't have to wait like we did. I took a picture of the number and is on my contacts now. Not waiting in line anymore 😉”

Mackenzie has taken care of my hearing needs for at least 6 years now, originally meeting at the doctor’s office when she provided me with my first hearing aid. I liked and trusted her so much that I followed her when she opened up Altitude Audiology, even with it being almost an hour drive for me. It is totally worth it! She and Trish make you feel like family every time you walk through the door. The office is beautiful and comfortable. They ask about my family and are always accommodating when I bring my little one with me. Mackenzie even tested my daughters hearing, and did an amazing job with my then 5 yr old. I couldn’t ask for more. I will be an Altitude Audiology patient for life!!”

“We had a great stay at Casita Geoda! It was perfect for my husband and I, and our two young boys. They loved the swing, the tic tac toe, and corn hole! We visited the play ground across the street and skipped rocks at the river too. The outdoor chairs were perfect for star gazing! We saw meteors! The bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was perfect for the boys. The hosts thought of everything! We’ll definitely stay here again with Alby and his family. They were hospitable without being too invasive. Love Casita Geoda!”
