Frank Buck Zoo

For a small zoo, this place is really nice. It was a little cool the day we were there and the animals were all inside or hiding, we were still able to see a lot of animals. Will definitely come back.

Not a large zoo, but it has a surprising variety! The area is laid out as a large loop, walkable in either direction. Exhibits were clean and the animals were cared for. There is also an opportunity to feed giraffes from your hand on an elevated platform, but our trip was not planned in advance and we were not around at the right time to do that. Admission for our group of adults was $9 each, which I found more than reasonable for the two or so hours we spent here.

We really enjoyed the walk that is elevated around the African portion. Nice small quick zoo with lots of shade besides the African area.

Wednesday visit during spring break. 10min wait to get in park, a little crowded on the walkways with visitors & strollers. Arrived at 1015 in time to feed the giraffe. giraffe care taker was patient & answered all the questions about the giraffe.
Spent 2 hours at the zoo. It’s small but good size for the price. The kids loved it. It’s well maintained & although they get crowded we love the bridge walkway.
