Hilltop Original Fried Pies & Steak Burgers

Skip all other food stops and make it point to come here. We finally made it just to get some fried pies and saw the amazing burgers others were eating here and decided to just get lunch here. It did not disappoint.

First off, these are truly the best fried pies I've had by far. We got the apricot, cherry, and chocolate and they were all amazing. The burgers were huge and so good especially with the nice crispy homemade fries. Really, just stop here if you want delicious home cooked food. I had the chicken wrap and it did not disappoint. There's some cool items in the menu you would not expect to find there as well. This place is a gem. We will make it a point to stop here on our trips through.

If you are coming from Winstar, skip all the food options there and make it here instead. You won't be disappointed.

This place was great. A real official hole in the wall, with a funky relaxed vibe. The burger was the real deal, made to order from scratch. Ditto on the fries. The fig & cheese fried pie was a sweet and savory delight.
Places like this are rare these days.

Was driving through from Denton & Ft Worth stockyards after vacationing in TX and was on my way home to Oklahoma. Got several fried pies. I got myself an apple fried pie and got a few peach and cherry fried pies for a relative. They fried pies were delicious, fresh and made to perfection. The building was clean, had no wait time and the staff was helpful. This is an amazing business establishment.

A hidden gem with delicious pies! Made a quick stop here and they had so many flavored pies from sweet to savory. Very quick service and was in and out in no time. Didn't have a chance to try the burgers but the pies are amazing here. A great size for the price. Definitely worth the stop!
