I took my dog here to see all the Christmas lights. it's a tradition for us and this spot was magical. we both loved it. there was plenty of free parking nearby, which was nice. I haven't seen this park in the daytime yet, but I thought it was really peaceful and felt pretty safe at night.
This is a great park when you’re looking for a little escape for an hour or more. My family and I visited during the holidays, and we were able to walk through a magical world of lighted trees. It was a stunning sight to see. The lake really enhanced the experience.
There are shops to grab a bite to eat near the water-walk as well, which is nice if you want to make the most of your visit.
I highly recommend you check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful, clean, and spacious park! There are sidewalk walking trails around the lake, bridges, look out spots, and benches. It’s dog and family friendly. Safe areas nearby apartments and a small shopping/restaurant strip by the bridge. Vitruvian park is really beautiful (but crowded) at night when the winter, Christmas lights turn on :) there are also cute ducks here too!
My family and I enjoyed ourselves for the 2 hours we spent in the park snapping lots of photos and videos and taking in the scenery with waterfall and peace and love that radiated through passing by others!
Free beauty to take in around the holidays for sure near Dallas TX. Great for all ages also! My husband didn’t think our 4 through 12 yr old kids would enjoy it much but they appreciated the experience snapping their own pics and videos!
***Update Fall 2021***
Vitruvian Park is great if you avoid the Christmas Lights season. Other than that, I took my date here after the Escape room, just to walk around and sit at the big tree, watching the sunset fall. It's very peaceful. Luckily, we were able to see fireworks from a game a couple miles over.
