  Been hearing about them through Facebook and been dying to try them. Finally, today I was able to and I must say they definitely superceded my expectations. I ordered the three piece mixed chicken with medium seasoning. Oh my goodness, that chicken with the seasoning is so bomb! They cook it fresh to order! Now that's one thing I really loved, some nice hot fried chicken fresh out the grease! I highly recommend you all give them a try, but make sure to call in your order if you're in a hurry. 15 minutes seems like a long time, but the chicken is definitely worth the wait! They have won a customer for life!!

  Royal's Fried Chicken is by far the best in Cedar Hill. You will need to call in your order.

  I have lived in Cedar Hill for years and for some reason never tried Royal's fried chicken, even though it is next door to another restaurant I frequent. This oversight has been my loss. I stopped here yesterday on my way home during lunch. Everything is cooked to order, so it was hot and fresh. Fries come with every order. Both fries and chicken were hot and crispy. The chicken was lightly breaded and nicely seasoned. The price for all this is crazy reasonable. 25 pieces for $23! Where else are you going to find that? Alas, though, since it is cooked to order be prepared to wait. I was first in line with no one else in the restaurant at the time. I didn't walk out until just over 30 minutes later. That said, it was definitely worth the wait. I will surely go there again, I will just be sure to call ahead next time. My only regret is that I waited so long to check them out. Highly recommend.
