Having a counselor who can really SEE through each client in a group or individual setting is not only vital but extremely beneficial. Shundria Riddick has a unique gift of "seeing" her clients beyond the camouflage of the generic responses and temperaments (Most of us look okay and say we are okay; but are we reeeeeally thriving well?)
I always avoided group counseling settings, assuming I would be able to hide or I could potentially be overlooked, however Shundria not only intentionally keeps groups reasonably sized/small but ensures that every participant is heard and seen during each season.
She is also transparent about her faith as a believer, applies God's truth to each session and utilizes multiple therapeutic techniques based on the conversation. I can truly say that Shundria is uniquely gifted and passionate about her gifting as a licensed therapist/counselor. She has/is helping me walk through years of misguided thinking and decisions; while holding me accountable to making the needed changes that will ensure I walk in God's TRUTH and FREEDOM!
