(June 15, 2019, 1:09 am)Good for kayaking in dfw area. Very calm river and peaceful environment. Moreover, there's no motor vessels, so no noise in the lake. Highly recommended for spending an afternoon.
(April 5, 2019, 9:20 am)This place is wonderful I have been taking my shepherd mix here since he was a puppy and my newest addition has come out of her shell once I started taking her here . The large dog section is a dust pool so avoid it when wet but otherwise dog launch and small dogs is perfect. I will always be bringing my pups here! Be sure to call before traveling because sometimes they close in nasty weather and it won't show on Google. This place is run by volunteers and I appreciate everything these people do. I wish the people bringing their dogs were a little more considerate and cleaned up after their pets but there's always going to be that one dog owner ????
(February 18, 2019, 2:52 pm)This location is closed on Mondays for cleaning. The area is well maintained and you will find a large variety of dogs in both sides, large and small breeds. People and pets are friendly. The walkway is clean and nice for strolling and visiting. Water is available on site for dogs and humans. Portable potties are at the end of the parking area for humans. Handicap parking is limited to about six spots. Great place to bring your pets.
