“I've mostly had decent experiences here with staff, a few specific caseworkers. In fact, I almost never have issues with staff. Most difficulties are with the medical professionals. Now, with the counselors, all but one were helpful in one way or another. One of them was noticably above the rest, but I lost him when he went into private practice. After that, the counselor I was given (poor guy) took vigorous notes while I kinda unloaded. He wanted to hear it and encouraged it, but when I'd look over all he could do was shake his head about what I shared. He was great, really, and did his best, but he couldn't say much. There are more, but I'll stop there. As far as those prescribing medications (not psychiatrists, but working under them), a few I've felt I could trust. The rest, including my current one, tend to lean toward criticizing the meds I'm taking-ignoring my diagnoses-and telling me I should be outside more, exercising my mental health issues away because I don't need meds. Oh, also listen to gospel music. And pray a lot. I trust medical professionals for the most part. They went to school, ideally learned their profession, but if you'll come at someone with clinical, chemical imbalances, and encourage more exercise, then religion, to a disabled cult survivor...? Yyyyyeah. So, with that, I'd give 2-3 stars. However, they've done a lot of work with their offices! The facility was showing its age. Now, I want to be clear that I'm not criticizing them for that and if if I'm coming across that way, I apologize-they've done the best with the funds they've had, as far as I know. They opened all the parking right in front of the building for people with disabilities. Which is something, considering one of the spots that could have been disabled parking was for a Director. Seriously...? Extra points for adding another spot :) They've done a bunch with the front waiting room, the check-in desks... They've added a pharmacy on premises and are bringing in a medical doctor for primary care. I expect they'll be pretty booked, but it's nice to see. The pharmacy delivers, usually within a day from being filled! Also the delivery fellow is awesome. I hope he's around for a while. Finally, CFG does online appointments through Doxy, SOMEtimes by phone. They will require you to come to their offices in person every six months to visit the caseworker and update your paperwork. Amusingly, they've then escorted us to an office with... A camera and screen to meet the doc through Doxy. I'm told that, theoretically, meetings with the caseworker can occur online also, but you get what you get. They **did** insist on masks before, but this is Texas, so very few do anymore because "yeehawww freedom" **shoots guns in the air** . Or some such nonsense. Some there do still mask, which we appreciate very much, since so many don't care anymore. I'm not letting that but influence the rating either way, even if I want to do so. So, overall good. I haven't visited their other offices in literally years, but between the facelift and good staff, I'd recommend at least giving these guys a try.”

“The whole UT System is incredible, but the pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable about the medications their patients take and are very helpful. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do to keep my spouse going.”
