Highland Park Emergency Room

Dr Muniz and his nurse (I’m sorry I forgot her name!) were so wonderful! They were funny, listened to everything, repeated things multiple times til it clicked in my brain :), and made sure I was comfortable all the while there. They also didn’t pressure me into getting anything that wasn’t necessary just to rack up the bill like the other doctors I saw wanted to do. The rooms are also very nice and private, clean, and definitely more peaceful than your typical ER. I hope not yo ever go back, but if I need an ER I’m definitely coming back here!

I fell at the gym and got a cut on my right shin, ended up needing stitches. The wait time was short, the doctor, nurse and assistant made me feel at ease, the facility is modern and clean and there was no pain from the tetanus shot, the shot to numb the skin around the wound or the needle for the stitches. Everyone was smart, sharp, gracious, and friendly. We laughed many times…what a wonderful trip to an ER!

Highland Park ER is terrific! I have been there on two occasions, and each time could not have gone better. Their staff is knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and friendly . . . and they have a special way of making you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Highland Park ER!

I had an Incredible experience despite the reason I had to be there. The staff was amazing. Great communication, sympathetic to my pain, gracious in their care. I was able to get the answers I needed and they were so kind to take such good care of me. Dr. Aponte was amazing and communicated with my PCP to make sure I had follow up care. Couldn’t recommend more!

We had a great experience here. Our concerns were taken seriously and everyone was so kind! We also felt like the staff genuinely cared, from the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was amazing! They took all the avenues to make sure they knew what was wrong. They also followed up via phone call twice to see how we were doing and ensure we went to the recommended specialists. Will definitely recommend to friends and keep in mind for any future incidents.
