(May 15, 2019, 2:17 pm)It's always a treat to eat lunch at Slow Bone! I take clients there from out of town or we go together as a work team for special occasions. Great meat, any combo of meats and sides can't go wrong, it's fantastic!
(May 6, 2019, 1:24 pm)I'm in town for a work conference and did quite a bit of research to find some good BBQ on a really tight schedule. The location of Slow Bone was perfect. I went right when they opened and was greeted by multiple staff and was assisted through the process of being a newbie by who I believe to be the pit master. He was incredibly helpful and thorough in explaining all of my options. I ended up with the brisket, fried chicken, jalapeno mac and cheese, pecan sweet potatoes, and hush puppies.. I can't even pick one word to describe how AMAZING the food was! The brisket fell apart with just a touch, had the perfect amount of fat (YUM). The fried chicken was bomb, as was the Mac and cheese, but the sweet potatoes with pecans took the cake. I definitely shouldn't have eaten all that food as one person, but I couldn't stop (and I wasn't about to waste it!). FANTASTIC!!!
(April 23, 2019, 10:02 pm)We served Slow Bone at our wedding and everyone loved it! Our guests said it was the best barbecue they’d ever had! We had spinach dip and chips & homemade biscuits with pimento cheese for the cocktail hour- it was all delicious. Brisket, pork ribs, and smoked turkey for dinner with multiple sides and that delicious cornbread. We could not have been happier- the best food!!
(April 10, 2019, 9:35 am)Don't let the line out the door scare you. The line inside is short and it's a serving line, so you're not waiting just to be seated. But it's certainly worth a little wait. Really good food, specifically the chicken.
