Gary is the only man I will let paint my cycles. I own Wild Child Cycles. Gary is a man with great work ethics and his paint is top notch. If you don't believe me ask Rick Fairless he has painted all his crazy bikes.
AMAZING work and friendly staff!
One of the best motorcycle custom paint shops
First, I'd like to mention that this is a review you can really take to heart and use to make the best decision for yourself because I know what its like trying to research a business hoping for objectivity and something you can hang your hat on. If you want your paint job done right with talent and beautiful aesthetics, this is the shop for you. I should note that I gave them a relatively smaller job than others, as I had purchased a used BMW motorcycle top case and wanted it color matched to my bike without breaking the bank, not a full bike paint job like he's more than capable of. Now Gary and his crew went further and matched the top case to fit perfectly with the designs of my bike--BMW K1600GT. If this group gave such attention to only one part of a bike--the top case, can you imagine what they do for a larger job. When I arrived, it was clear that I did not know what design I wanted to use to blend this bike despite hours of contemplation on my part. I did something I would encourage you to do. Trust the talents of these individuals and let them help you decide or even decide for you in some instances. They are skilled and really know how to make it look right. "BUT do your part" and not be overbearing and do sit back and trust their talents. You won't regret it. Here is why. Its obvious they take pride in what they do, maybe somethings may take a little longer than you initially expected, but be patient and understanding because they are only trying to make sure your project exceeds your expectations and is done flawlessly. And lets be clear, nothing is excessive from a waiting standpoint but these nice folks don't need pushy customers disturbing their good nature. Gary and his crew are kind people--you will see for yourself. They acknowledge you from the moment you walk in the door. they all smile and greet you. I made several trips there. Gary is not very talkative at first but I think he's just trying to understand what you really are asking from him. He his HONEST. I left my $2400 side case there for him to color match to a $600 used top case without hesitation because you can tell that he is just a genuinely kind hearted person. Now the quality of work was outstanding---just flawless, magnificent, beyond expectations. My topcase looks awesome and I bet it looks better and is painted to higher standard than a new bike on the showroom. Why? He didn't rush. So please don't rush him and his crew. PLEASE REREAD THE LAST STATEMENT. I want to mention that again because the way we as patrons can best show our respect and appreciation for this gem of a crew in Dallas-ForthWorth is to chill and trust--that they will take care of you. Again, I left a lot of the creativity up to Gary. I told him, "I have seen your work and I am going to trust your opinion, and go with what you think is best". I never looked back, not once. I knew he was a good dude and God has always brought the best people in my life when I have something very important to me. This was no different. Also the prices are more than fair. One other point. Gary does a lot with Harley's and I am not a Harley guy ( no offense to anyone as I just like Kawasaki mostly because its what I had as a kid, but have a BMW K1600GT for this project) as some of you know having a European bike can sometimes be a turf war. But swash that thought. He treats you with respect and only cares about doing a great job--I imagine to simply satisfy his own high standards. I didn't get special treatment because I had a connection---I was just a guy off the street who came in and now I am guy with a bad **s top case. I hope this helps and this is my way of giving back to all the folks who have written reviews in the past and helped me make decisions--but I still owe a lot to the community in this regard--but I will only review something/someone when I feel compelled that it is a difference maker to the reader.

There's a shop full of motorcycles in various states of assembly at the intersection of Highways 183 and 35E. The inside looks like a motorcycle graveyard of the incarnation variety where bikes are disassembled, repaired, painted and put together under a completely new skin.
