Having never purchased abrasives for my blasting cabinet in Garland, where we live, I called another shop which referred me to SOT. I made a quick call to SOT to see if they sold to individuals. The lady who answered the phone, invited me to come by the shop (just barely outside of Garland, but in Dallas City Limits). I was greeted immediately by the lady who had taken my call. She brought a salesman to the front who introduced me to their products. I was actually allowed to feel samples in order to determine which would be best suited for my work. I was given some paper-work to complete. At 82 and not very strong, I wondered how I was going to carry the 50# bag to the car in the parking lot. I should not even have considered that because the salesman himself came and shouldered the bag and carried it to the car. I could not thank him enough for his help. During my purchase, I was greeted by several very friendly employees. I would not hesitate to purchase at this shop again. In fact when I returned home, I called a fabrication shop whose owner I know well. I recommended that he contact SOT the next time he needs materials or service (SOT offers several types of cleaning services, etc.)
