I can not say enough about how amazing this place is for sobriety. Randy Cox and John Patton saved my life. Every time I messed up they were there to pick me back up, get me cleaned up, and eventually back in their house. I learned so much about how to live a disciplined and normal life after living as a drug addict for most of my life. The accountability Randy and John have created is amazing, they make sure you are doing what you need, help you find a job. Even after they check in on you and make sure you are doing well. When it comes to sober living there is no better than Patton House.
Patton House, I can't say enough what this place did for me early in my recovery. I will say that being in early sobriety in sober living is incredibly difficult. The staff is great from Austin to Corey to Trey to John Patton. This place has taught me more than I can ever ask for, and the hands-on approach can be taxing. The level of accountability is what I needed, and being a month removed from Patton House, I can really see there. As clichéd as it sounds, this place is teaching men of any age how to live in recovery and establish discipline for yourself. I had my ups and downs here, but any parents that are thinking of sending their son or adults that need a place to start over, after a relapse or treatment, this one the best places in Texas. Lastly, they will not sugarcoat anything here or have some hidden agenda. You are not some paycheck to them. I can think of a litany of times that they knew what was best for me even though I might not have agreed. These guys know what their doing. I would like to thank Randy, John, Duncan, Trey, and Corey. God bless you guys for showing me a way to live through the twelve steps.
We are so thankful Patton he House was there when we needed them. Our son was exiting a 90-day treatment center and was not able to be independent yet and we didn't know what was available. Patton House was exactly what he needed. A transition time from a treatment center into independence while keeping him accountable, working his program and in community with other men who are going through the same thing. I don't know what we would have done without them. I am so thankful and happy to report that our son is now thriving independently. Thank you God for answered prayers and thank you Patton House for continuing this hard work!!!
What an answer to prayer! Very scary and new at first but, Patton house was great for our son. Helped him grow as a young man not knowing where he was going into a mature young man who has plans and a vision for his future. The staff is everything he needed as leaders and mentors. And yes, he would say the same!
Going through the program Patton House offers was a life changing experience for me. It gave me enough structure and support to grow in my sobriety and recover, but left room for me to learn to be autonomous and become an independent young adult. Over the course of my stay I also got to build a community though 12 step fellowships that I still use today. I can’t say enough about how impactful Patton and the people there have been to me!
