Dr. Howard is the best chiropractor in Dallas, TX that I have tried and I have tried quite a few. He treats my whole family and I even have an uncle who drives all the way from Arkansas just to get adjusted by him. He is located just northeast of Royal Lane and 75 at the Royal Central Tower that is on the access road. He is a one-man office who answers the phone, schedules appointments, takes x-rays, and performs all the chiropractic adjustments. He is open on M-F except for Wednesdays till 6 pm and by appointment only on Saturday mornings. He does have some open checking times, but it's best to call and make sure he is not too busy and find out when the best time to come is. I love the way that he explains everything he is doing every time I come even though I have been going to him for over 20 years. He will have you lie on a table that lowers mechanically to check your legs to make sure they are the same length then push on your back gently starting at the bottom of the spine to adjust your back as needed. Then he will have you sit in a backless chair and will check your neck with a simple u shaped device that he runs from the base of your neck up to the top of your neck. If your neck is not out of adjustment, then he does not adjust your neck and you are finished. If it is, then he has you lie on your side on a table in another room. He has a table that the head drops down when he adjusts you. He pushes gently on the exact spot that you need adjusting and there is a noise as the table drops but it doesn't hurt at all. He lets you rest for a few minutes to let the muscles adjust to holding your bones correctly, then comes back and has you sit up slowly. He checks your neck and if the bones are back in place (which it has been all but once for me), then you are ready to go. If not, then he will adjust you one more time. He does ask that you take it easy for a few days to allow your bones to get used to holding your neck correctly. Recently I asked him what the techniques he uses are called and he told me Grostic, Blair, Specific, Hole in One (HIO), and Upper Cervical Chiropractic. He doesn't ask you to come back two to three times a week like a lot of the other chiropractors. He has use come back when you need to.

Have been seeing Dr. Howard for 25 years. Usually once or twice a year. Has always taken good care of me, my family, and my employees.
