Great craft show and is a awesome private school.
I was here in 1980 when my cousin Mark M. graduated from a Jesuit High School so this was the one. I guess I was there for the graduation also although I remember being here in the spring and it was only a brief visit as we were travelling to Guadalupe and to see cousins in Indiana on the same trip. My cousins must have had more family meetings because they were more aware than we were.
By far the best school in Dallas, and certainly the most prestigious prep school in the state. Jesuit's lessons of "community" and "men for others" are profound. The overall education and impact on a young man's life are far superior to the public schools and the SPC and TAPPS schools in the Dallas area.
I didn't know how much I learned there until I started college. Excellent school. Current principal is tops.
Jesuit has a superb graduate record of acceptance to the finest, most highly rated colleges and universities in the country. It is a shame that anyone would give this excellent Catholic institution a poor rating and accuse them of training racists because of an incident initiated in a fraternity at a secular state university. To be fair, compare Jesuit with what the public institutions are turning out. You might well find a mix of robbers, rapists, and murderers. However, I would venture to guess the cause is the family and socio-economic makeup of the student body and not the school. Give appropriate credit where it is due.
