Dr. Joyce M. Shotwell, MD

My former pulmonologist retired, and sent me to Dr. Shotwell. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. She gave me good advice for handling my COPD after I move to Mexico, and prescribed a new medication that is helping me breathe more easily.

There are not enough words for me to express the gratitude I have for Dr.Shotwell and her team. Day 1 of my visit I was so nervous because I transferred from a pulmonary specialist who told me to stop all my meds and refused to return my calls. Then Dr.Shotwell walks into the room with a big smile and politely greets me. She does her assessment and she only knows I wear oxygen. In two days from the New breathing treatment, I was on 3L/m of oxygen to 1 L/M. She has worked wonders. I strongly recommend Dr.Shotwell.
