There are not enough words to describe how lovely of an experience I had with my doula, Bethany, but I’ll give it my best shot! From the moment I met with Bethany to discuss her doula services, I was absolutely sure she is who I wanted to be in the delivery room with us. It was evident leading up to the delivery, that she was going to be the best support for us (she replied to every text and phone call, and would check in with us after my appointments). When delivery day came, Bethany arrived at the perfect time and she completely changed the experience for me from being a pain-focused and “just get through it”, to being one of restfulness, peace and encouragement. She was constant in encouraging me, in pushing me to get my baby here because I was made for it. Bethany’s is a JOY and her light shines bright - I can’t imagine going through labor and immediate postpartum without her. Her genuine support was steadfast and her care for me, my husband, and my sweet baby boy was evident. To top all of this off, she captured every moment throughout the process and I am forever grateful for all of those pictures!! Thank you, Bethany! And thank you NDDA!!!

I’ve worked with two lactation consultants through NDDA now and they have been so wonderful! I have a “just enough” milk supply and they have helped me get my milk supply up for each of my newborns, and have helped with supplying donor milk while working on my own supply. They accurately diagnose the issues I’ve experienced with my babes having uncoordinated sucking at first. I owe my successful breastfeeding journey to them!

I'm not great at writing reviews but I need to give a huge thank you to NDDA and Madison Prez (my doula) for my birth last week. Madison helped me through my pregnancy, especially when plans changed and we had to start thinking about induction. She walked me through every step of what to expect beforehand, stayed with us through the entire induction/labor process (which was LONG), and stayed with me afterward at 3am when my baby had to be taken to the NICU. If she wasn't there, I would have been left alone crying in the L&D room wondering what was going on after they rushed my baby and husband away with little explanation. She helped with every step of the way, not only with tips, breathing, and positions, but moral and emotional support. THANK YOU!

As a current midwife, and a previous labor and delivery nurse, I have had experience dealing with all of the doulas in the practice and I can say that I would without a doubt, trust any of these women with caring for me in my labor and birth if I had the opportunity to do it over again. These doulas are professional, kind, generous of their time, and very highly trained.

Over the past 10 years, I have had so much support from the women at this location. The IBCLC team took me under their wing when I was new to lactation services and have since shared their knowledge, guidance and support any time I have had a question. Rachel, Hannah, and Meridith in lactation are phenomenal and have many valuable years of experience to contribute to this practice.

I have never had so much support from women, as what I have found at NDDA. They are the real deal! Chelsea made my second birth experience so positive and comfortable, even despite my body not quite cooperating with my wishes for my birth experience. She was supportive throughout all of my pregnancy, always available to chat or answer questions, she visited us in person more than once and was so considerate and thorough at every visit. She is down to earth, relatable, and a calm presence for the big day. She helped my husband to support me through hours of contractions and helped me make peace with ultimately deciding to use an epidural. After giving birth, when my breastmilk wasn't as plentiful as I hoped, Chelsea hooked me up with an awesome IBCLC super quickly and she continues to support me through postpartum decisions. I highly recommend hiring Chelsea for your next birth experience.
