“So I went here looking for Nigerian food because my normal restaurant will be closed for a while. I went in and it wasn’t a restaurant, but a store. The lady there was so nice. I told her my reason for being there. Then I said hey I want to make my own so I never have this problem again. She walked me around the store to find all of the ingredients I need. Then she wrote out the recipe. Omgoodness, my food came out so good. By the way, I am American and I am a real fan of this food now.”

“Visited Royal Chicken in Duncanville last Sat. with my son. We ordered an 8 piece legs and thighs, 3pc fish fillets, and chicken salad. I also got the lemon tea. The owner personally came out and greeted and shook hands with all customers before leaving. The food was freshly cooked so there should be an expected wait time for new customers but just be patient and you’ll have hot food out the grease. The chicken was seasoned well and accompanied with fries pickles and peppers. My son loved the fish and and my chicken salad was fulfilling. Pros: Nice choices, good service, good food. Cons: Salad didn’t combine spinach or mixed greens (but still good). Location is not bad but could be difficult to find for people not aware of the location. Finally there may be a bit of sticker shock to some but I think the food is worth the price and valued well. Over all, please visit one of their two locations and support Black Owned Businesses. You won’t be disappointed.”

Not even because of the equipment being free to use most of the time, or that it’s so clean, not even that it doesn’t smell like a locker room like LA Fitness does - all of those are good things. But the best thing about this gym is Ellis, the manager. Most service sucks in a gym. He knows you by name, when the last time you came in was - just uniquely extraordinary engagement and knowledge of each person. Couldn’t be happier with WA.”
