Lionheart Children’s Academy at Arapaho Road

  Our son has been attending this daycare for over a year. He has transitioned from the infant room to the toddler room. The teachers and the school have guided him through his mental and physical growth and I have witnessed amazing results. His doctor recommended speech therapy and one of the teachers told me to give him 6 more months. So I did. The teachers would tell him "use your words". And yup. After 6 months, he started talking. I have seen him grow from a little boy who couldn't walk or talk, to a polite little boy who can talk, pull up his pants, and use basic sign language.
  The only difficult thing for us is the food program. They have strict rules about what they serve the children. They base it on a healthy diet and really there isn't anything wrong with it. But my son has a special diet (he mostly eats raw food) and sometimes he doesn't eat meals that are served to him. If this happens to you, please speak to the daycare because there are options for you to provide food. But they NEED to know because other children have food allergies.
  You get incident reports and phone calls for events that take place during the day. Which I really like. I have gotten phone calls that were basically "hey, your son woke up crying. He doesn't have a fever, but we just wanted you to know something is going on."
  If the cost of the daycare is intimidating, trust me, it's worth it. I can equate it to a small community. I feel like the entire staff knows who my son is, even staff members who don't work in his daycare room. My son has made friends and the children even recognize you as a parent and will say "that's so-and-so's mom". You're not just a stranger dropping off a kid. You're family here.
  
  I would like to mention the staff members who have been helpful but that is just a small percentage of the great employees here. Ms. Jelissa, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Nadia, Ms. Diana, Ms. Tammy, and Ms. Tamara.

  After moving to the area almost 2 years ago, I got pregnant and started my research right away. I’m a little crazy when it comes to the people that watch my kids. I spent about 4 months total researching and visiting multiple facilities. Narrowed it down to two. Lion Heart (closet to hubby’s work) and one close to home. What can I say! We love it here at Lion heart! The staff is amazing!

  Not your typical daycare. They know everyone by name and truly care for everyone as individuals. Beautiful spacious classrooms and multiple play areas for kids.

  My kids love it here! My 3yo is always so excited to see her favorite teacher and play with her friends. My 1yo has had great teachers who love on him and give him great attention. My 6yo has gone there a few days when she had a school holiday, and she begged to go back.
  I truly feel that I can trust my kids with the staff. The teachers are warm and welcoming, and the directors are awesome. The facilities are great and always clean. We've been so blessed to have had such a great experience.
