La Tia y El Gordo mexican food

Very tasty food! Corn tortillas made from scratch! Guiso was tasty, can’t wait to try other dishes!

I was on my way to my normal taco spot and along the way I had seen this restaurant, and decided to stop in. First of all, the owners are super awesome and very nice. Secondly, almost everything there is hamd made and so fresh. The food was delicious and prepared in such a timely fashion. I can't wait to try more of their food. Definitely a satisfied customer here. I will return.

My dad got menudo he said it’s was the best and he doesn’t like try new places cause they don’t make it right and that’s saying something. We had some horchata it was great. Tortillas looks like they are hand made fresh. I have enchiladas Verde. I loved the salsa they have brought. If you want salsa inside the enchiladas make sure to request that other than that

I've been looking for some good menudo in Dallas, Garland area, but to no avail. Then on a chance my aunt suggested La Tia y El Gordo. It's the best menudo I've had. The flavor of the soup is so good and the meat cleaned, so it's not greasey. And homemade corn tortillas. Very good!!!
I recommend La Tia y El Gordo Mexican restaurant.

This place is so freaking good.The chicken and veggies have such delicious flavors! Do not miss out! I will also add that their chilaquiles are just the right spicy and crunchy!
