Ace Jewelry

I own an L. L. Bean field watch that I bought in July 1998. When the latest battery died, I took it to Batteries Plus for a replacement. The young man who installed the battery torqued down the crown so hard that it wouldn't move. While the new battery started the watch again, it was impossible to set the current date and time. I tried different techniques to free the crown and pull out the stem, but the crown wouldn't budge. Today I visited Ace Jewelry. The man on duty used some small pliers. He freed the crown, pulled out the stem, set the date and time, put the stem back in position, locked the crown, and handed me my watch. He didn't charge me! My wife and I have been looking to have our wedding rings resized. After our experience today, we're definitely going to take them there.

I had purchased a Citizen Disney watch with a link band. I walked in and the gentleman doing the repairs dropped his work and proceeded to remove one of the links, let me try it back on, then removed another, and now, it fits perfectly!

The cost was very, very affordable, and the service was exemplary!
