SO MUCH FOR PROPELLING ME INTO MY FUTURE WITH CERTAINTY AND PURPOSE!!! GOD BLESS- ERIK CESAR FRAIRE CHAIREZ..
I attended Mid Cities Barbering and Barber Instructor Course in 2016 and 2017. Prior I served Our Great Country In the United States Army for 22 Years before retiring. I chose this school because of it structure, rules and the outstanding staff that worked there. I want to comment on a previous review.
I think Bianca post is very unprofessional, disrespectful, immoral, dishonest and delusional. Bianca, honestly you know that you and Juan are in you’ll own little world. You guys received multiple counselings when I was there as a Student Instructor for (PDA) Public Display of Affection in a school environment and multiple other reasons. Honestly some of the PDA I seen between the two of you should be only done behind closed doors.
I’m totally lost with the Mrs Cano is racist. I’ve known the entire family for a very long time and never once experienced that at all ! I’ve seen them give pretty much the shoes off there feet and the clothing off there backs to help others Everytime Race was irrelevant. Even take a look at your situation. You could’ve been removed from the course with the PDA incidents alone. Which was my recommendation, but she gave you and Juan chance after chance.
I remember the incident between Juan and I. When I was trying to help him on a hair cut that he had destroyed. I honestly think he was more angry at the fact that you were catching on fast and you had started getting requests from clients. While I was explaining the process/ fixing the cut. I simply put my hand on his shoulder and said don’t worry Juan it will all come overtime. He then looked down at the floor, walked away mumbling don’t touch me. Talking about he wanted to fight me. That was REEEAAALY FUNNY I was THE RIGHT WRONG ONE!. I really thought he was joking. I had just saved him from a client who was furious about the hair cut he had received from him. It was all good, but what I didn’t understand is why did you start yelling and screaming for? I don’t know, maybe it some type of Bonnie and Clyde pact you’ll made together.
Bianca, I honestly think both you guys are very smart and can accomplish anything that desired. The only road blockades you’ll have is:
Attitude X 3
Discipline
Respect
Selfishness
Deception
Loyalty- To the wrong game
Dialogue
No disrespect to anyone! There is zero reasons to lie, disrespect or post negative deceptive reviews just because you have a problem with someone, or maybe problems with yourself. Ask yourself what did you do wrong, how you could have fixed it and learn from it.
There is absolutely no other Barber School I would ever recommend other than Mid Cities!
GREAT SCHOOL-HANDS DOWN!
Hey im the blackest man you will ever meet at mid cities and when i started i never cut hair before. Ms.Cano and her staff has taught me from clip over techniques, shears, to teaching you how to be a successful professional barber. You are what you make of it and if you choose not to take their business seriously or what they teach you then its on you. Hold yourself accountable for your decisions and actions you choose to make.
Best school I looked at in the DFW area. Always kept neat and clean. The students and instructors here are very helpful and understanding. They find a way around a solution and are there with you every step of the way. If you need something or help, you'd ask and receive it with no hesitation. Learned so much at this school and I am grateful that I was allowed the opportunity to attend here. Classroom area and clinical floor were kept clean at all times. Instructors were able to break down the hair cutting process and not only did they explain it step by step, they also walked you through it all and made sure you understood every step. Hands down would recommend 100% to anyone that wants to become a barber or even just further their education. The whole experience if I could rate it on a scale to 10 would have to be a 10/10. And for those that do not know, this location does have an option for financial aid and will work with you through the whole process.
