This place is absolutely fantastic! I've read the reviews both good and negative and I have to say because I could have read the reviews arethey not accurate. The staff are more than friendly and helpful. Selection is enormous and vast. I commend them!

I had been driving by here for the last few months and I really like military surplus stores and today I finally stopped. Its really a great shop! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Although I did not purchase today I saw a lot of items I will be returning to buy! Thermal socks really good quality, overalls, coveralls, good quality coats and jackets, guitars, all things military, pellet guns and a lot more. Stop in and see what Porters has to offer. Excellent service from Mr. Porter himself on my first visit to this Army/Navy store. I didn't know it was the owner at the time who was helping us and anyone else who walked in. But I digress.... The store has everything we needed, a small hatchet, rain slicks, Magnum ammo ( at a great price ), BOOTS! Great boots for all weather, and a compass.

If you are going camping, hunting, backpacking, it just looking for a good deal and friendly service, Porter's is the place to go.

First time here. Steve the owner is wonderful he really cares about his customers, and his employee Jason was awesome too. They have really good prices and a lot of great stuff to choose from. I definitely will be coming back. I’m so happy with my purchase.

I have grown to rely on Porter's Army Navy for all of our Cub Scout needs, and I've even picked up a few gifts for my friends (and myself) from time to time. They have a ton of great camping, hunting, and survival gear. I always find friendly service and knowledgeable employees to help me out every time I go in. I have never had a bad experience there.
