I wanted to take the time to tell you about this hidden jewel. A few years back we were looking for a church home and after searching Grand Prairie, Irving and other areas we ended up here at CBC. Right off we felt at home! The people are friendly and welcoming. We heard word of a mission trip and felt right off the Lord leading . They embraced my 3 teens my husband and I and let me tell you it was everything I hoped it would be on a mission trip. My kids were blessed to have landed right in the middle of Costa Rica ministering to the beautiful children. When looking for a church many people look online for pics , calendars as well as programs for kids. You won’t find a lot of it when looking but I think they are so busy living and loving to take the time to post. The youth pastor Jake took our kids and others to Colorado right in the middle of COVID when other churches youths were shut down online. It was much needed by all. It was an amazing mission and adventure! I just did my first woman’s retreat with 40 amazing ladies from all ages and background. The thoughtfulness and details that went into this was such an act of love. I left feeling more community than ever!!! We took some pics but I haven’t seen them but it’s not about pics but memories made. So if your looking for a well taught bible church that is sound and prayerful caring compassionate folks you will find that here and more. The youth are planning another mission trip in June. But they meet every Sunday for 3 hours and it’s always a blessing to my kids! Lots of outings. My kids love the 2-3 times a year camping outings that never disappoint!! The youth leaders go out of the way to teach instruct and mentor all those that come . Everyone feels welcome. Come serve and love deeply the community of Irving with us!!!

I've only been there once. I went to sit in on Joseph's Experience Orchestra. Felt very privileged to be apart of the organization.. Looking forward to hearing them again. Be blessed always 🤗

Great congregation, and Pastor Nutter is amazing!

If you desire all the bells and whistles that come from a mega church, Community Bible Church might not be for you. There's nothing wrong with professional singers leading the music or stadium seating or a sea of people coming to worship together in the latest fashions. Many people enjoy worshipping God in mega churches...obviously.

But if you are instead looking to worship God with a community of believers who don't care what you wear, who truly care about welcoming you in (no matter what stage in life you are in), Community Bible Church might be just the place you have been looking for. Pastor Steve Nutter teaches the Bible verse by verse and doesn't skip over verses that might be difficult to understand or controversial in today's world. He gives the Hebrew translation and explains the background when it's difficult to understand the meaning.

CBC is a down-to-earth group of born-again believers who would love for you to come visit. We might not be flashy, but our music is heartfelt, the message is solid, and the people are friendly. Our ages range from newborn to in the late 90's.

And if you need any further convincing, my family drives each Sunday all the way from Keller, passing probably 40+ churches along the way (we are in the Bible Belt, after all!). We've tried churches in the Keller area, but we returned to CBC and make the drive because it just feels like home!
