Had high expectations coz of the great ratings and reviews but food didn't live up to the hype. Those mushrooms and onions needed more time to be sautéed.

I had seen Burger Island a few times while driving by and today I decided to finally stop in to give them a try.

I ordered and after a short wait I got my Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. This was a fantastic burger. I don't know how the McDonald's next door stays in business.

Patty was well seasoned. Toppings were fresh. Bun was soft. Good bread to meat ratio.

Fries were decent. Skin on. The seasoning was excellent. The larger fries were just a bit less crunchy than I like but the smaller ones were perfect. They weren't soggy just a little floppy.

Felt like good value for my money. I will definitely be back.
