Dr. Brian E. Straus, MD

Dr. Brian Straus is a great, fantastic, amazing & brilliant doctor. He was the only doctor that was able to help me. A podiatrist messed up my feet & Dr. Straus was the only doctor that actually came up with solutions. He had different ideas & options for reconstructive surgery & explained each potential procedure with pros/cons. The surgery was very successful & recovery was very fast. After surgery everything was great with minimal pain & swelling. I didn't know that surgery could go so well & that recovery could be so fast & painless. As an athletic male, you really don't realize the importance of your feet until they're hurting all the time & you can't function. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Straus & what he did for me & my family.

I would like to preface my statement by first saying I am NOT the best patient. With that said, this is the BEST doctor and staff ensemble I have encountered in Dallas, Texas!!! I’ve been in Dallas for 15 years and have seen my share of doctors. The others are good but this group is the BEST!!! To start, my surgery was successful. Dr. Straus made me feel so comfortable about the procedure as this was major ankle and foot surgery. I can call Julie, Dr. Straus’ PA or Amber his medical assistant on any day and my call is always returned the same day and within the hour. And, yes I have left my share of messages. If I need an adjustment as it pertains to bandaging, casting, etc., Gabe takes care of me! Paperwork completed for my employer, no problem - they go the EXTRA mile. It’s doctors and staff like these that take such good care and provide an EXCEPTIONAL experience for their patients that individuals like me want to be a better patient.

I first met Dr Straus back in 2009 , when his practice was with Texas Orthopedic. He immediately identified and recommended what steps I needed to take in order to correct issues created by another ankle doctor, in my ankle reconstruction surgery. Dr Straus performed my 4th ankle procedure (2010) and I healed in record time as well as my recovery/rehab time was much more bearable. I could tell immediately this doctor knows what he is doing. I have been seeing Dr Straus for the last eight years as follow up visits. He's always willing to listen and address my concerns.

Please remember all doctors are not created equal, but this guy is a cut above the rest. Check him out!!!

Without Dr. Straus I don’t know what I would have done. It is because of him I am even able to walk today!
