  For the year I've been there I have loved it it's a very diverse student body , and everyone for the most part gets along and the staff is friendly to everyone. This one incident doesn't define MacArthur high school nor does it trump all the good that the school has done for so many people .So if you haven't attended please don't pass judgment .

  Best school in Irving. I wish people would read what's exactly going on around the world and now in Irving and would be wise and mature to see with their spiritual eyes. I am glad that a teacher took precaution and kept my sister safe!

  Since so many people who have never stepped foot inside this school have "Rated THEIR Experience" and called the teachers and administrators bigots, racist pigs, and a disgrace to the nation. Let me fill you all in on some information.
  
  Irving is INCREDIBLY diverse. People would not choose to teach or work there if they were indeed racist of any sort because you cannot get away from people of other ethnic groups.
  
  Ahmed brought in a device that looked like a bomb. That is a fact. If he had brought it to the airport, a court house, and especially the White House, he would have been trampled and taken to jail right away. But, since it was a school filled with 2700 students and 300 faculty - no problem, come on in...... Please.
  
  So what is my proof of my "experience" here? I taught there for two years with amazing colleagues who love those kids. MacArthur is a wonderful school where student succeed academically, where they do broadcast journalism, where students interested in culinary arts cook for their teachers, where they compete academically and in sports. This school gives students amazing opportunities. It is sad only one side of the story came out.
