We had the pleasure of having Mrs. McCoy teach our son ELAR and Social Studies this year! She is so kind, so patient, so loving and so encouraging. Our son adored her and loved being in her class. Our son advanced to an 8th grade reading level this year and maintained a high A in Social Studies all year long. When our son reached such a high level of reading she found higher level books for him to read and found ways to keep challenging him and growing him. To say she is an outstanding teacher would be a huge understatement. I also feel like I should mention that our son has ADHD and is not medicated for it. Mrs. McCoy was so patient with him all year and found ways to work around the ADHD to teach him according to his needs. I couldn't be more thankful for this incredible lady and teacher! We have been blessed by her more than words could say. We are definitely sad to see her go, but we couldn't be more happy for every child that get to learn from her and be loved by her.
My son, Quinn, has Ashley as his second grade ELAR and social studies teacher. She is very patient and has worked with Quinn and his learning disability. Ashley’s love for children and her ability to work with all types of children will make her school a success!
Ashley taught my daughter, and we loved her! Awesome teacher who treated my baby like she was her own.
Mrs. Jones taught my son and was such an advocate for him. She invests more than the required amount of time and energy into her students. She believes the best about her kids and will adapt as she understand their strengths and weaknesses. She is a gem!
I was extremely lucky to have Ms. Jones as a teacher for my 2nd grade son. To say she taught my son the skills needed for the 2nd grade would be a total understatement for what she did for him throughout the year. She boosted his self esteem, increased his curiosity, instructed him to think outside the box, encouraged his leadership abilities, and made sure he felt protected and loved everyday. Taking care of my 1 child is amazing, but she did all this with each child in the class. When her students see her, their faces break into a huge smile. It is obvious of the respect and admiration they have for her, and as i parent i could be happier. I wish all teachers were like Ms. Jones because when a teacher truly loves what they do it shows.
