Had the opportunity to contribute to the first annual Compassion Conference here. Beautiful church and venue! “What Your Brain Says About Compassion” by Misty Romano
Great expanded campus, totalled updated with lots of meeting rooms, getting everyone involved
My family loves this church. Very friendly and welcoming people, it may be a huge church, but when you go to it it gives you the feeling if a small church in a small town. The pastors there are very well versed in the bible, and dont just stand behind the pulpit when they preach. The choir is fantastic with great voices and sounds. The facility provides just about anything you can think of. My daughter and I go every year for the father daughter day. This is a great place for worship. I would definitely recommend giving it a try to see if it's right for yourself or your family.
Very welcoming, friendly people! I take my grandfather to their senior lunch they hold once a month. Lunch is $2 and they have a program after lunch, usually music or a speaker. They also offer various day trips that are a lot of fun and gives you a chance to get to know others. Even if you aren't a "Methodist", give the senior group a try!
Went to a Richardson Community Chorale concert in their worship arts building. Very nice venue. New construction. Small, about 300 seats I would estimate. The seats are somewhat narrow, however. Nice LED screen, great sound system, lots of lighting gear. The church hosts the Chorale for practice as well. They sounded great. Enjoyable evening.
