Taqueria La Candelaria

Food looks amazing but I was just looking for some good ol street tacos and they charge $3 a taco and I wasn’t wanting to spend that much per taco. It did smell amazing and the tacos are larger than the normal tacos. $3 per just wasn’t up my alley. They only take cash too which isn’t a bad thing just be sure to have cash on u. Let me know if they r as good as they smell

The quesadillas are huge and delicious

Dinging them a star because they’re cash only, but these were some really good tacos. The meat was cooked and seasoned well, the salsa roja they include has a nice kick and a bit of acidity that makes it really tasty. The tortillas are the star here though, it’s obvious they make them fresh from how pliable they are and the nice chew they still have. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated, but that may have been a factor of them making the tortillas vs just using premade ones.

Food is authentic. The Consome with meat was delicious and not overly gamey. The specialty here is goat dishes. The goat brain tacos were soft and rich. The salsas are somewhat spicy with a citric tangy finish. All tacos are made with handmade tortillas. The ordering process is a little disorganized. So don't come here expecting traditional restaurant service. It's more like what you would expect from a genuine Mexican street side vendor. The food timing was very reasonable. Did I mention handmade tortillas? Definitely not your typical Mexican food spot. This is only for the hardcore enthusiast.
To the owner of this place I would only recommend getting someone who can expedite orders with consistency.
