“Twin Rivers is an amazing community. In the last five years, I have toured countless assisted living facilities but I have to say in the DFW area, Twin Rivers is a hidden gem. It is a small, well-run facility on one-level with wide hallways. Clean and well-managed, this place really is centered around the needs of elders and their families. At first the apartments seemed quite small to my grandparents but after a few weeks in residence, found it suited their needs quite well after all. They loved many of the social activities and the small garden areas around the facility. There is low-turnover in staff which is also rare in this industry. In our time, we got to know many wonderful staff members (nurses, aides, activities coordinators, cooks, front desk and housekeepers) who meant a great deal to our grandparents and also to us. The other residents and their families are wonderful as well. Whenever our grandparents were in rehab or extended hospital stays, the staff would always visit with them and the other residents would pass on notes and cards. Sheila and Chris and their team are simply the best. They supported our grandparents and our family through many transitions in the last couple of years. We count ourselves lucky to have been a part of their wonderful community.”
