(February 28, 2020, 7:43 pm)WE LOVE IT!! This is our hometown Mexican food and Harry are Irene are like family to us! Our daughters first job was working at El Centro downtown Rowlett. This is our very favorite place to eat! We have catered with them too and it was exceptional!
You can’t go wrong eating with this amazing family!
(February 18, 2020, 8:59 pm)Love El Jefe! We have been eating here since it was El Comer off of main Street (before the fire). I love the food and the family that owns and operates it! They always remember us and greet us when we come in! One of my family's favorite restaurants!!

Well I went to El Jefe's Mexican restraunt in Hope today only to be very very dissapointed. I came in at about 12 in the after noon for a small snack of steak tacos. The server promptly brought out my tacos but when i began eating them they were engulfed in extremly hot sauce.
