Fun fun fun fun friend forever
Amy did an excellent job assessing our ability and customizing her lessons to meet our skill levels. The horse she choose for us to learn on was gentle and patient. Together they helped us overcome our fears and gain confidence. We always look forward to our next lesson as we know we will learn something valuable that will help us become better riders. I appreciate her professionalism as she is on time and ready when we arrive for our lesson and she proactively communicates changes as they arise. We are becoming confident and skilled riders as a result of Amy’s skillful and compassionate coaching.
Amy is flat out awesome, best riding instructor I have ever had. Appreciate that she explains everything to me, and she makes it fun.
Amy has done wonders with my National Show Horse and with Me! Flash was very uncertain about most things, except for bracing up and running. He would find every excuse, including the mounting block is in a different spot, to be anxious and act out. But I knew there was a good horse in there. Amy found him. She has patiently worked through every step with him, providing him with the tools to be confident and relaxed.
She has also done that with me, although I think Flash is a better student at times. Flash's prior behavior left me with expectations that he would continue to act up. Amy has worked with our partnership, asking me to trust him first. She has also taken my riding to a new level. One of confidence and leadership. I now understand how my body drives his, and small adjustments to posture, position, and focus results in a willing partnership. Amy rocks!
