Lim Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

I have been seeing Dr. Lim for the past 2 months. I generally didn't feel well before starting treatment. Fatigue, cold hands. feet, dry itchy skin, and low energy. Not to mention its been easy for me to catch a cold, so I definitely needed help supporting my immune system. I started acupuncture and the custom prescribed herbs. I'm feeling amazing and continue to improve. I highly recommend Dr. Lim, he is amazing!!

I have seen Dr. Lim only ten times so far, but when I tell you the results have impressed me, I am not exaggerating! I am being treated for anxiety, but other problems have been alleviated from the acupuncture as well! I will divulge some very personal information to paint a better picture.

I started going to Dr. Lim at 3.5 months postpartum. At that time my skin was loose and my stretch marks were very dark. It only took 3 appointments for me to start noticing a change in my skin! Now at 6 months postpartum my stretch marks are lighter and hardly bothersome, and my tummy skin feels tighter and more smooth. The acupuncture, moxa and infra-red lamp really did something! And I wasn't even being treated for weightloss or skin issues! But hey, I'll take it!!

Now for what I am being treated for, anxiety. I have a much more fragile heart now that I'm a new mom, so alot of things my husband and in laws said and did made me feel unsupported and misunderstood in this new season. I carried the hurt so deep and with such great burden, that I thought I could hold the grudge forever. While needling, Dr. Lim would ask me questions like "do you get angry often?" or "are you more angry or more sad?" and as soon as I was honest with myself and Dr. Lim, I started feeling a shift. Mind you, he asks you these questions to best help you, so help yourself and don't skirt around the questions like I did at first. Answer as honest as you can and the needles and Dr. Lim will do the rest.

I can say that I have been more calm during confrontation. I have had fewer anxious thoughts run through my mind after a fight. And as of recently, my in laws offered an apology, and I was actually able to accept it and move forward. I never would have done that before.

Dr. Lim is SO knowledgeable, but more than that he is gentle and kind. I always enjoy our little chats during my session! He has given me great recommendations on exercise, restaurants and even online shopping. Dr. Lim truly wants the best for his clients all the way around. You will feel that from your very first visit to your last!

My experience with Lim Acupuncture was a pleasure. He made my first visit comfortable and provided me with helpful tips for my health. I say to visit and experience it for yourself. Lim really wants to help his patients. I just wish I had better insurance for consistency.
