After getting my ICL procedure done at Carter Eye center in Dallas, I wanted to find a local doctor for my yearly checkups. I've always been frustrated with Carter Eye center, having to wait HOURS for every checkup, but I always assumed this was the norm.

I don't know why I didn't see Dr. Hsiao earlier...
1. I waited maybe 10 minutes to be seen by him.
2. Dr. Hsiao was super patient answering my silly questions.
3. I never felt rushed during my time with him.

Im 30 years old. Extensive damaged to eye due to blunt force trauma with bungee cord:

So far so good. Just began seeing Dr Hsiao. Very knowledgeable and great at communicating expected steps necessary for my eye and surgery. Let me know risks and answered all questions. Didn't feel rushed at all. Dr Hsiao took his time to make sure I felt at ease with procedure and future plans. Helpful techs nurses and staff across the board. Friendly and professional. Will update through progress.

Post-surgery update. All went well. Efficient appointment day after to remove eye patch. Simply put i now have 20/20 vision which is better than my vision before the injury. No pain afterwards. Continuing care and check ups sound promising and hopeful that the healing process is going well. Techs continue to be very helpful.

For both of my appointments at this clinic, I was seen at very close to my appointment times.Personell were friendy enough and were very willing to answer questions after examination by Dr. Hsiao.. He did BK surgery on one of my eyes a few weeks ago and the cornea is healing nicely. I'm glad that my regular ophthamologist in Denton recommended Dr. Hsiao to me.
