Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Despite the negative google reviews and some negative posts I've seen on neighborhood pages about this location, I like Popeyes and I've gone here a handful of times since they opened a few years ago. My personal experiences there have always been good; luckily I've never had a bad experience like others have. That said, yesterday evening I went through the drive-thru just before 6pm. There was no one in front of me and my order for two classic chicken sandwiches, one spicy chicken sandwich, one shrimp tackle box, some tenders and a couple of drinks and sides was taken promptly and professionally by the young woman taking orders. I pulled up and was greeted very politely by the young man taking payment. He confirmed my order, took my payment, and my food was ready (and perfect) within just a couple of minutes at most. The food was all delicious, but the customer service was what gives this a five-star review. I hope that whoever manages or owns this place knows that they have a couple great employees in those two and treats them well. Oh, and also, the fried shrimp is surprisingly great. Better than fried shrimp I've had at some sit-down restaurants and being from New England I'd like to think I know my seafood.

Mmmm chicken. Their spicy chicken strips are yummy! Still haven't had the chicken sandwich in stock anywhere since it went viral so long ago. I would love to try it!
