Bellaire Residential Assisted Living and Memory Care

Our family has been incredibly blessed by Bellaire Assisted Living since my husband’s mother moved in January 2022. All of the staff members are so loving and caring with all of the residents, the home-like design of the house promotes regular interaction among residents and staff, the food is amazing, and, the convenience of having visiting physicians has helped with our busy schedules. Bellaire Assisted Living is top-notch living for a loved one to call home thanks to Kimberly Truax.

This is the most amazing care home!! My mother has been a resident for about a year and has gone from being severely depressed and wanting to die to finding joy and fun in every single day. She no longer refuses to leave her room but is active in both houses, doing fun projects (like making fun hats to celebrate Mothers Day and wearing them at dinner), working on puzzles, attending Bellaire’s book club, cooking club, and Bible study. Every holiday is celebrated, usually with a fun gathering of everyone’s family. It’s become like a large family reunion where we also visit with families of other residents. Bellaire isn’t so much a facility as a cozy home where every resident is cherished.

My siblings and I placed my mom here 2 weeks ago even though it is an hour drive for us to visit (which we have taken turns and done every day). Not one tear or sad face --she actually has improved! She is now engaged, eating, and enjoying the activities. Beautiful place with VERY caring staff. It feels like a home that is excited to have guests. Since she was living with me now I feel guilty that I did not move her sooner.

In all my years of hospice social work, there was only one caregiver agency I never received any complaints about in the entire DFW metroplex and it was Kind Companions in Denton, TX, owned by Kimberly Truax. She sets the bar high and her company has always had excellent caregivers with the most professionalism. Kimberly often spoke about opening up her own personal care homes in Denton. I am SO excited to share that those personal care homes (an Assisted living and a memory care home) are both open in Denton now!!! I had the pleasure of touring them yesterday and they are hands-down the nicest care homes you’ll find. Kimberly has outdone herself in the details making these homes everything you could want for your loved one. There’s even a massage room with a large massage table, a salon and more.
