Easy access and well maintained.
There is a drive through to take household items that need to be disposed of properly, such as old batteries, half full aerosol containers that no longer work, and broken electrical items. It was easy for me to drive through during my lunch break and drop off items. Friendly, helpful people ready to accept my items and answer questions about other things at home I needed to throw away or recycle. Every time I go it is free, although there may be a small fee for large items, such as appliances or big TVs.
There is a store front on the north side of the building with used chemical items for free. I was quite impressed with the variety of items they had. Limit is 4 items per person per day. Fire ant granules, cleaning/laundry products, glue, paint, etc. It’s an honor system to go inside, pick your items, write your name and how many things you take. Looks like the inventory changes frequently.
If you have products you no longer need, you can drop them off, I believe at the white building to the left. It prevents flammables, etc from being sent to the landfill or going down the drain.
